PW3 Modaflame Rain+ Hi-Vis Multinorm FR Winter Trousers with Holster Pockets

The PW3 Modaflame Rain+ Hi-Vis FR Winter Trouser with holster pockets is a high-performance multi-standard protective trouser for use in extreme weather and hazardous conditions in industry, construction, and the energy and utility sectors. The robust outer fabric made of Modaflame™ Rain+ Hi‑Vis (60% polyester, 21% modacrylic, 18% cotton, 1% carbon fiber, ripstop, PU-coated, approx. 270 g/m²) offers permanently inherent flame-resistant properties that do not diminish even after frequent washing. The trousers reliably protect against radiant, convective, and contact heat and meet the highest requirements for flame protection, weather protection, and high visibility. They are CE certified (CE-CAT III), antistatic, non-magnetic (nickel and iron-free), and suitable for use in ATEX environments.

For optimal cold protection, the trousers are fully lined and padded. A flame-resistant cotton lining provides additional warmth and comfort. The side elastic waistband, concealed front zipper, side leg zippers, and adjustable hook-and-loop hems allow for an optimal fit, flexibility, and easy putting on and taking off. The leg length is also extendable (from 31" to 33"). Heat-resistant, flame-retardant reflective tape according to EN ISO 20471 Class 2 ensures visibility in the dark.

The trousers feature a total of nine functional pockets: detachable zippered holster pockets for versatile applications, cargo pockets on the leg, classic side pockets, a ruler pocket, and two-tier adjustable kneepad pockets. The holster pockets can be positioned individually and adjusted or removed as needed – ideal for versatile work tasks with changing requirements.

The PW3 FR427 meets a comprehensive profile of standards: EN ISO 11612 (A1+A2, B1, C1, F1), EN 1149-5, EN ISO 11611 Class 1, IEC 61482-2 with IEC 61482-1-1 (ELIM 32 cal/cm², ATPV 37 cal/cm²), IEC 61482-1-2 (APC 2), EN ISO 20471 Class 2, EN 343 Class 4:1 X, and EN 342. They are available in Hi-Vis Orange/Black and Hi-Vis Yellow/Black, in sizes S to 3XL – the ideal protective trousers for anyone who wants to work reliably, comfortably, and flexibly in the toughest conditions.
