The BP® Lightweight Multi-Norm Jacket APC2 combines maximum protection, excellent visibility, and feather-light comfort – designed for demanding applications such as road construction, power supply, or industrial work. The innovative fabric, consisting of 35% aramid, 30% modacrylic, 25% cotton, 9% polyamide, and 1% other fibers, stands out with its low weight of approximately 245 g/m² while providing exceptional durability.
It meets a multitude of safety standards: electrostatic discharge (EN 1149-5), chemical splashes (EN 13034-6, Type 6), welder protection (EN ISO 11611, Class 1 – A1), heat and flame protection (EN ISO 11612 – A1/B1/C1/F1), and electric arc protection (EN 61482-2, Class 1; Class 2 in double-layer areas). The jacket combines high safety with modern ergonomics: it features an arm-lift system and ergonomically shaped sleeves for unrestricted freedom of movement in a slim fit.
Functional details such as a stand-up collar, concealed zipper with snap-button placket, two chest pockets with flaps, two side pockets with welts, and an internal Napoleon pocket offer versatile storage space. Additionally, adjustable cuffs and reflective elements on the shoulders, sleeves, and center back ensure increased visibility under demanding conditions. Thanks to its suitability for industrial laundering according to ISO 15797, the jacket retains its shape and functionality even after frequent washing.
