Description
The rECOflexy 7142 rain trousers from PLANAM keep you dry during heavy rain while also ensuring visibility – in the construction industry, warehousing and logistics, installation and building services, municipal road construction, gardening and landscaping, and automotive engineering. The bright orange colour and segmented reflective strips meet visibility class 2 according to EN ISO 20471:2013+A1:2016, making the wearer easily recognisable even in poor visibility.
The outer fabric consists of 100% recycled polyester with a PU coating, and the lining is made of 100% polyester. The trousers are waterproof, windproof, and breathable, and feature 4-way stretch that moves with you when bending or kneeling. They are rated class 3-3-X according to EN 343:2019: class 3 for water resistance and class 3 for water vapour resistance, the highest achievable levels in both cases. The X in the third position means that the supplementary rain shower test was not performed.
An elasticated waistband ensures a secure fit without the need for a belt, and the leg cuffs can be adjusted using press studs to fit over boots or safety shoes. They should be machine washed at 40 °C on a normal cycle; bleaching, tumble drying, ironing, and dry cleaning are not permitted, and the manufacturer specifies a maximum service life of 25 washes.
The rECOflexy rain trousers are available in orange in sizes S to 8XL; the same model is available as article 7143 in yellow. Together with the matching rain jacket, they form a fully waterproof high-visibility suit.
