Is my employer required to provide me with personal protective equipment?
Yes. According to Section 3 (3) of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, the employer must provide the necessary PPE free of charge as soon as a risk assessment in accordance with Section 5 of the Occupational Health and Safety Act indicates that it is required.
