Description
The WOODS Mechanics glove with item number 1973 was specifically designed for use in forestry, as well as for machine handling and operating chainsaws. With its padded spandex back in red and high-visibility yellow, as well as reflective strips, it offers good visibility in the work area. A special cut-protection insert is located on the back of the left hand (Form A, Type 2, Class 1) to provide targeted protection during work involving cutting hazards. The palm is made of robust Clarino® synthetic leather and is reinforced with gel pads and synthetic attachments between the thumb and index finger to ensure grip and comfort.
The glove is certified according to the EN 388 and EN ISO 11393-4:2019 standards and complies with PPE Category III – a high protection classification for hazardous work areas. The combination of high-quality materials, mesh and reinforcement zones, as well as practical details such as a loop for attachment to a carabiner, make it a reliable choice for demanding tasks in the forest, in landscaping, or for cutting and lifting work. With its well-thought-out design, the WOODS Mechanics 1973 offers not only protection against cut injuries but also maximum comfort and practical utility. It is excellently suited for craft businesses, municipal services, and industrial use that value safety, visibility, and performance.
