Description
The CLAY ESD F2A WR – 89601 by ELTEN is a firefighter pull-on boot from the Fire series, combining high heat protection with robust safety features. It was developed on a new last and offers a comfortable, ergonomic fit with particularly ample room in the forefoot area.
The fire-resistant cowhide leather upper and heat- and flame-resistant stitching protect the foot during firefighting operations. Inside, a breathable textile lining ensures a comfortable foot climate, while reflective material attached to the sides improves visibility in low-light conditions.
The heavily lugged GUMMI/PU POWERGRIP sole with a steep-front heel is particularly slip-resistant and is SRC certified; according to HI3, it withstands a temperature of 250 °C for 40 minutes. The steel toe cap and penetration-resistant steel midsole protect against falling heavy objects and sharp objects on the ground, while an abrasion-resistant toe cover protects the toe cap from wear. The boot is tested according to DIN EN 15090 F2A (Type 2) with WR, HI3, HRO, and CI in Form D – for waterproofness, heat insulation, heat-resistant outsole, and cold insulation – and is certified for orthotic insoles according to DGUV 112-191.
Soft ankle padding, flex zones, and the full-length FIREFIGHTERS Level 2 insole ensure comfort during operations, while the antistatic soft fleece fire sole dissipates electrostatic charges.
The CLAY ESD F2A WR is available in black/red in sizes 38 to 50 – a reliable pull-on boot for emergency responders who rely on proven heat protection.
