Description
The COLIN II GTX® BOA® ESD F2A WR – 89731 by ELTEN is a firefighter boot for demanding operations where protection and reliability are paramount. It combines fire-resistant materials, comprehensive moisture protection, and the BOA® Fit System, which keeps the boot securely and precisely fitted to the foot.
The fire-resistant cowhide leather upper is finished with heat-resistant stitching and laces. The GORE-TEX® CROSSTECH® membrane reliably protects against water, blood, chemicals, and bloodborne pathogens – while the closed, padded tongue keeps feet dry even in firefighting water. Reflective materials improve visibility in low-light conditions.
A steel toe cap, steel midsole, and TPU toe cover ensure maximum safety. The heavily lugged POWERGRIP RUBBER/PU sole with a high-profile heel provides excellent grip and meets SRC slip resistance. The boot is tested in accordance with DIN EN 15090 F2A (Type 2) with the additional markings WR, HI3, HRO, CI, and SRC in Form C – for waterproofing, heat insulation, heat-resistant outsole, and cold insulation. The ESD-capable soft fleece footbed safely dissipates electrostatic charges, and the boot is certified according to DGUV 112-191 for orthotic insoles.
Soft ankle padding, flex zones in the shaft, and the full-length FIREFIGHTERS Level 2 insole make even long operations comfortable. A pull loop and heel pull tab facilitate quick on and off, while an internal pocket holds an RFID transponder for equipment and PPE management.
The COLIN II GTX® BOA® ESD F2A WR is available in black/red in sizes 35 to 50 – a reliable companion for emergency responders when it matters most.
