Description
The CRAIG GTX® ESD F2A WR – 89641 by ELTEN is a firefighter boot that combines fire protection, wetness protection and cut protection against hand-held chainsaws in a single model. The combination of lacing and a zipper optimally adapts the boot to the foot, ensures high stability and allows for quick on and off.
The upper made of fire-resistant cowhide leather and the heat-resistant seams protect against flames and heat. The GORE-TEX® Performance Comfort Footwear lining keeps the feet dry even in firefighting water and ensures a comfortable foot climate; a GORE-TEX® stretch laminate in the tongue and a stretch area on the back of the shaft make entry easier.
Highly cut-resistant fibers slow down a chainsaw by absorbing the kinetic energy – the CRAIG is tested as a cut-resistant boot according to EN ISO 17249 with protection level 2 for chain speeds up to 24 m/s. In addition, it features a steel cap, steel midsole and a TPU overcap. The deep-lugged GUMMI/PU POWERGRIP sole with a steep front heel offers extra grip on slippery floors and is SRC certified. The boot meets DIN EN 15090 F2A (Type 2) with WR, HI3, HRO and CI in form D – for waterproofness, heat insulation, heat-resistant outsole and cold insulation. It is certified according to DGUV 112-191 for orthopedic insoles.
Soft ankle padding, flex zones, the closed, padded tongue and the full-length FIREFIGHTERS Level 2 insole ensure comfort during operations. The antistatic soft fleece footbed dissipates electrostatic charges, while a pull-on aid at the heel makes removal easier.
The CRAIG GTX® ESD F2A WR is available in black/red in sizes 35 to 50 – the right choice for emergency responders who also need to work safely with chainsaws.
