PW3 Modaflame Rain+ Hi-Vis Winter Jacket

The PW3 Modaflame Rain+ Hi-Vis FR606 is a high-performance multi-norm winter jacket for demanding operations in industry, energy supply, construction, and rail. It is made of a robust outer fabric of Modaflame™ Rain+ high-visibility fabric (60% polyester, 21% modacrylic, 18% cotton, 1% carbon fiber, 7mm ripstop, PU-coated, 270g/m²), combined with a flame-resistant cotton lining (100%, 170g/m²) and padded filling made of flame-retardant polyester (150g/m²). The flame-retardant properties are permanently retained – even after frequent washing. The jacket provides reliable protection against radiant, convective, and contact heat, is anti-static, CE-certified (CE-CAT III), non-magnetic (nickel and iron-free), and suitable for use in ATEX environments.

Focus is placed on comfort and functionality: the jacket is fully lined and padded to keep out external cold and retain body heat inside. A detachable, helmet-compatible and adjustable hood with a molded peak, a two-way zipper with a double storm flap, inner rib cuffs, as well as adjustable sleeve cuffs with hook-and-loop closure ensure protection and comfort in wind and weather. The drop tail hem improves coverage in the lower back area. The innovative Acti-Reach™ construction with only one back panel increases the range of motion for arms and the upper body when reaching, turning, and lifting – ideal for dynamic work processes.

For secure storage, the FR606 offers a total of three pockets: two side zip pockets and an integrated internal tablet pocket. A radio loop allows for the easy attachment of communication devices. The embroidery access in the back area allows for uncomplicated customization with corporate branding. Heat-resistant, flame-retardant reflective tape ensures optimal visibility according to EN ISO 20471 Class 2. The jacket meets a wide range of standards: EN ISO 11612 (A1+A2, B1, C1, F1), EN ISO 11611 Class 1 (A1+A2), EN 1149-5, IEC 61482-2 with IEC 61482-1-1 (ELIM 32 cal/cm², ATPV 37 cal/cm²) and IEC 61482-1-2 (APC 2), EN ISO 20471 Class 2 (incl. RIS-3279-TOM for orange), EN 343 Class 4:1 X (rain protection), EN 342 (cold protection), as well as EN 13034 Type 6 (chemical protection). It is available in Hi-Vis Orange/Black and Hi-Vis Yellow/Black, in sizes S to 3XL.
