The GREG ELYSEE® bump cap is a protective head covering in the style of a baseball cap, designed for use in areas with risks of bumping and superficial impacts. It complies with the European standard EN 812, thereby demonstrably meeting the requirements for industrial bump caps.
The outer material of the cap consists of 65% polyester and 35% cotton, while the protective inner shell is made of polypropylene (PP). The cap is adjustable for head sizes from 53 to 59 cm and can be individually fitted using a sliding buckle at the back. With a weight of approximately 185 g, it sits comfortably on the head without causing unnecessary strain.
Features include integrated reflective piping for improved visibility, a two-tone contrasting brim ("sandwich peak"), and variants in several colors such as red, orange, yellow, green, blue, black, and gray. The cap combines protection, comfort, and a fashionable appearance – particularly suitable for work areas where a full safety helmet according to EN 397 is not required, but bump hazards exist (e.g., in assembly halls, warehouse areas, or when operating machinery).
