Description
Description
The 1977 Rope Rescue Mechanics glove is specially designed for demanding rescue, abseiling, and recovery operations. The back of the hand is made of elastic spandex in a high-visibility red, ensuring freedom of movement and good visibility in the operational environment. The palm is made of robust synthetic leather in black/gray and is equipped with gel padding and abrasion-reinforced fingertips to ensure safety and comfort even under heavy use. A special feature is the reinforcements sewn with Kevlar® thread and a padded knuckle guard – ideal for rope and height work.
A wrist support with an all-around Velcro fastener ensures a secure fit at the wrist. In addition, the glove features an eyelet for attachment to a carabiner – especially practical for high-angle rescue or recovery operations. The glove meets the requirements of the EN 388:2016 A1:2018 standards with the rating 2.1.3.2.X and belongs to PPE category II – a clear indication of certified mechanical protection for high-risk operations. Through the combination of high-quality materials, a well-thought-out cut, and special features such as Kevlar reinforcements, gel pads, and an attachment eyelet, the 1977 Rope Rescue Mechanics glove offers a reliable solution for trade, industry, emergency services, and height work where protection and comfort are essential.
