The BP® Lightweight Multi-Norm Jacket APC1 offers comprehensive protection, a high level of freedom of movement, and is extremely comfortable to wear – ideal for qualification-based use in trade, industry, energy supply, or municipal sectors. Crafted from an innovative material blend (35% aramid, 30% modacrylic, 25% cotton, 9% polyamide, 1% other fibers) with a light fabric weight of approx. 245 g/m², it combines reliable protective function with minimal weight.
The jacket meets various safety standards: electrostatic dissipation (EN 1149-5), chemical protection type 6 (EN 13034-6), welder protection class 1 – A1 (EN ISO 11611), heat and flame protection (EN ISO 11612 – A1/B1/C1/F1), as well as electric arc protection class 1 (EN 61482-2) with an ATPV value of 8.1 cal/cm². Thanks to an arm lift system, ergonomically shaped sleeves, and a slim fit, the jacket offers optimal freedom of movement without compromising on safety.
Functional details such as a stand-up collar, a concealed zipper with a snap button placket, two chest pockets with flaps, two side pockets with piping, an inner Napoleon pocket, adjustable cuffs, and reflective elements on the shoulder yoke, sleeves, and center back round out the well-thought-out design. Suitability for industrial laundering according to ISO 15797 ensures long-lasting shape retention and functionality – even under heavy use and frequent washing.
