Description
Description
The BP® lightweight multi-norm trousers APC1 combine modern protective features, a slim fit, and exceptionally light comfort – especially suitable for use in energy utilities, municipal service providers, and the industrial sector. The innovative blended fabric consists of 35% aramid, 30% modacrylic, 25% cotton, 9% polyamide, and 1% other fibers, with a fabric weight of just 245 g/m² – an optimal balance of comfort and protection.
The trousers meet comprehensive protection requirements: electrostatic discharge according to EN 1149-5, chemical protection type 6 (EN 13034-6), knee protection in combination with optional BP® knee pads (EN 14404), protection against electric arcs (IEC 61482-2, class 1), welder protection level 1 A1 (EN ISO 11611), as well as heat and flame protection (EN ISO 11612 – A1, B1, C1, F1). The ergonomically modern cut with a slim silhouette, a higher rear waistband, and side elasticated waistband ensures an ideal fit and excellent freedom of movement.
Practical details such as two side pockets, a back pocket, a spacious thigh pocket with an integrated smartphone pocket, and a free-hanging ruler pocket with a pen compartment offer high utility. Reflective elements on the legs increase visibility in the work environment, thus making an important contribution to safety. The trousers are also suitable for industrial laundering according to ISO 15797 and remain shape-retentive and functional even after frequent washing – ideal for professional and long-term use.
