The AlphaTec® 53-003 from Ansell is a top-class chemical protective glove, specially developed for the extreme demands of the chemical industry, waste management operations, and disaster relief. As experts at A+S Technigro with nearly 50 years of experience in the field of PPE, we recommend this Category III glove for handling an exceptionally wide range of hazardous substances. At its core is the innovative MICROCHEM™ multi-layer barrier, a unique combination of rubber polymer and plastic laminate technology.
This offers superior permeation resistance against organic and inorganic chemicals in accordance with EN 374-1 Type A (ABCEFGHIJKLMNOPST). In addition to comprehensive chemical protection, the AlphaTec® 53-003 is certified against radioactive contamination according to EN 421 and against viruses according to EN 374-5. A soft nylon liner provides significantly increased comfort while simultaneously protecting against moderate mechanical risks in accordance with EN 388 (2121X). For work in thermally demanding environments, the glove offers protection against contact heat up to 100°C according to EN 407.
The palm features a raised diamond pattern, which guarantees an excellent grip even in wet or oily environments. The glove is also antistatic according to EN 1149-3, as well as latex- and silicone-free, making it ideal for sensitive production processes. Available in a professional black color, the AlphaTec® 53-003 covers a comprehensive size range from 7 to 11 and provides an excellent fit for fatigue-free work.
