X1A earmuffs, green

The 3M PELTOR X1A headband earmuffs are lightweight, comfortable, passive hearing protection designed for protection against low to moderate noise levels in professional environments. Part of the 3M X-series, they offer an attenuation of up to approximately 27 dB (SNR) – suitable for tasks in trade, construction, industry, and maintenance where moderate noise exposure occurs. Thanks to their slim, low-profile cup design, the X1A is ideal when compact, highly comfortable hearing protection is required for extended periods.

A key feature of this version is the electrically insulated, wide, flat headband, which reduces heat build-up on the head and is safe and robust due to its plastic coating. This dielectric property also makes the earmuffs suitable for work areas with spark or electrical hazards (less than 440 V AC), as there is no exposed metal. The soft foam sealing rings ensure an effective acoustic seal and a comfortable fit, while the lightweight design facilitates combination with other PPE such as safety glasses or helmets.

The 3M PELTOR X1A is certified to EN 352:2020 and is color-coded (usually green) for easy identification of the protection level within the X-series. With its balanced ratio of protective effect, comfort, and low weight, it represents a practical solution for work environments where solid basic noise protection is required without providing unnecessarily high attenuation levels.
