3M 6099 ABEK2P3R combination filter

The 3M™ Gas, Vapor and Particulate Filter 6099 provides versatile respiratory protection for demanding industrial and commercial applications. With filter class A2B2E2K2HgP3 + formaldehyde, it protects against certain organic vapors with a boiling point above 65 °C, inorganic vapors, acid gases, ammonia, mercury, formaldehyde, and particulate contaminants. The filter is CE-certified and designed for oil-based and non-oil-based aerosols.

The low-profile, swept-back design supports the widest possible field of view and balanced weight distribution when wearing the respirator. At the same time, the filter is characterized by its low weight and low breathing resistance. It can be attached quickly and securely with a quarter turn via the proven 3M™ bayonet connection. The 6099 filter is intended for use with compatible 3M™ 6000 Series full facepieces and must not be used with half facepieces.

Its broad protective effect makes the 6099 a practical solution for industrial workplaces with various gaseous, vaporous, and particulate hazardous substances. Typical applications can be found in industry, maintenance, and chemically contaminated working environments, for example. The respective operating conditions and manufacturer specifications must be observed for the selection of the appropriate filter-mask combination and the determination of suitable filter replacement intervals.
