Latex glove Alto 285

The MAPA Alto 285 is a highly resistant chemical protective glove made of natural latex, developed for prolonged contact with liquids or immersion, while being intended for short-term wear. With a material thickness of 1.0 mm and a total length of 60 cm, the glove provides effective protection extending beyond the forearm – ideal for demanding maintenance work in damp, oily, or hydrocarbon-contaminated environments. The chlorinated interior ensures a comfortable fit, while the reinforced textured finish on the exterior guarantees a secure grip. Certified according to EN ISO 374-1 Type A (ABKMPT), the Alto 285 reliably protects against methanol, acetone, sodium hydroxide (40%), nitric acid (65%), hydrogen peroxide (30%), and formaldehyde (37%).

In addition, it is approved according to EN ISO 374-5 against bacteria and fungi, as well as EN 388: 2131X for mechanical risks. Dexterity is rated 5/5, allowing for precise work even with high material thickness. The glove also offers additional safety regarding electrostatic discharge, thanks to its tested surface resistance according to EN 1149-2. Available in sizes 8, 9, and 10, in a yellow-beige color, with a rolled cuff, the MAPA Alto 285 is ideally suited for the mechanical industry and other industrial sectors where long-term protection during chemical exposure is required. A robust specialty glove for professional applications with high safety requirements.
