The 3M FFP2 8822 particle mask is a high-quality disposable respirator of protection class FFP2 NR D, offering reliable protection against hazardous solid and liquid particles such as fine dust, mist, and aerosols – even at concentrations up to 10 times the occupational exposure limit in accordance with EN 149:2001 + A1:2009. It is a particularly comfortable choice for use in construction, skilled trades, industry, renovation work, or when sanding and drilling, where increased particle exposure occurs.

Equipped with the 3M™ Cool Flow™ exhalation valve, the mask effectively reduces heat and moisture buildup by allowing exhaled air to escape quickly and comfortably – which significantly increases wearing comfort, especially in warm or humid working conditions. The 3-panel, pre-formed design adapts flexibly to facial contours and, in combination with flexible nose clips and color-coded headbands, ensures a secure, tight fit while maintaining low breathing resistance during inhalation and exhalation.

The 3M FFP2 8822 mask is hygienically individually wrapped, easy to put on, and can be easily combined with other personal protective equipment such as safety glasses or hearing protection.
