The TEGERA 490 is an extremely robust Category II cut-resistant glove, specially developed for heavy-duty use in manufacturing, metalworking, and maintenance. As experts at A+S Technigro with over 40 years of experience, we recommend this glove for work areas with the highest cut risk, as it offers outstanding Class F (ANSI Cut A6) cut resistance.
The innovative CRF® technology ensures that the glove remains flexible and durable despite its massive level of protection, making it an indispensable companion in modern industry. The material composition is technically highly complex: A 13-gauge knit made of basalt fiber, HPPE, polyester, spandex, and stainless steel fiber thread forms the basis for 360° cut protection. The high-quality PU coating on the palm with a smooth surface guarantees excellent grip while maintaining high fingertip sensitivity.
A special advantage for practical use is the touchscreen functionality, which allows for the operation of digital control units or terminals without having to remove the glove. The reinforced thumb crotch also increases durability under intensive strain. Available in black and in sizes 6 to 11, the TEGERA 490 is also certified according to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100.
