Description
The Baak Ray low shoe S1PS FO HRO SR ESD from the Sports-light series is a modern, versatile safety shoe specially developed for demanding working conditions. It impresses with its sporty, understated black/grey design and its well-conceived choice of materials: the upper is made of robust nubuck leather, complemented by a functional textile lining for a comfortable feel. Weighing approximately 540 g (size 42), the shoe is pleasantly lightweight and can be optimally adjusted thanks to the classic lace-up fastening.
The Ray meets the current EN ISO 20345:2024 standard with protection class S1PS FO HRO SR ESD. This means: the metal-free composite flex cap reliably protects against impact, while the textile penetration protection (Baak NeoShield) guards against sharp or pointed objects. The rubber outsole is slip-resistant (SR), heat-resistant up to 300 °C (HRO), and fuel-resistant (FO). The innovative midsole made of Baak High Rebound Co-Polymer ensures excellent resilience and cushioning – ideal for professions involving a lot of movement.
Thanks to the DGUV 112-191 certification, the shoe is suitable for orthopedic insoles and adjustments. The Baak ESD Softstep+ insole as well as the go&relax system promote natural foot movement and relieve strain on the back and joints. The Ray is completely metal-free, vegan, and available in sizes 36 to 48 – an excellent choice for work areas such as industry, skilled trades, logistics, or assembly, where both comfort and safety are equally required.
