Description
Description
The 3M 2890 safety goggle is a comfortable and versatile full-vision safety goggle for professional eye protection in industry, trades, laboratories, and construction. It offers a wide, distortion-free field of view and is suitable for protection against liquid droplets and splashes, as well as larger dust particles and mechanical hazards – tested according to EN 166:2001. Due to the cylindrically curved lens design and optical class 1, the goggles are also suitable for precise tasks over long periods of wear. The lens is made of high-quality polycarbonate, which is robust, impact-resistant, and clear, while offering UV protection and good color reproduction.
The design of the 3M 2890 features indirect ventilation, which allows for improved air circulation and thus reduces lens fogging in warm or humid environments. The goggles feature a wide, elastic, and adjustable headband that ensures a comfortable, secure fit and can also be worn over prescription glasses or respiratory masks. Thanks to the flexible nose area and adjustable joints, the fit can be individually customized, which ensures significantly more comfort, especially during long periods of daily work.
The 3M 2890 safety goggle is lightweight, easy to adjust, and versatile – for example, in assembly, manufacturing, laboratory work, pharmaceutical production, or grinding and assembly tasks. It offers reliable protection without restricting the field of view and is also compatible with other PPE equipment such as half-mask respirators. Replacement lenses and accessories are available to keep the goggles usable for a long period of time.
