Description
The Portwest DX475 - DX4 High-Vis Softshell is a modern high-visibility softshell jacket for professional use where high visibility, weather protection, and freedom of movement are required. The three-layer ripstop outer material consists of 92% polyester and 8% elastane and is laminated with 100% polyester microfleece. With a fabric weight of 310 g/m², the jacket offers a robust yet elastic construction. The stretch ripstop fabric supports comfortable movement and features windproof, water-repellent, and breathable properties.
A water column of 8,000 mm and breathability of 3,000 g/m²/24h make the DX4 High-Vis Softshell a reliable companion in changing working conditions. Pre-formed sleeves, adjustable cuffs, and an adjustable hem increase wearer comfort. The ergonomically shaped hood and numerous secure pockets, including zipped chest and side pockets, provide additional practicality. Segmented reflective tape supports freedom of movement and ensures high visibility.
The jacket meets EN ISO 20471 Class 3 and offers UV protection according to EN 13758 with UPF 40+. It is particularly suitable for construction, roadworks, logistics, industry, as well as municipal operations and utility companies. The orange version also meets RIS 3279-TOM for the rail industry. The jacket is washable at 40 °C and is certified for up to 50 wash cycles according to EN ISO 20471.
