Description
The TEGERA® SubZero 6299 is a cold-insulating safety glove for work in extreme cold – such as in cold storage facilities, cold chains, winter construction, logistics, and prolonged outdoor activities. The palm is made of top-quality full-grain cowhide, and the back of the hand is made of polyester with water-repellent TEGERA® Water Repellent (TWR™) treatment in high-visibility yellow. The long textile cuff provides additional protection for the wrist and forearm against cold and moisture.
The protection against cold is based on two components: TEGERA® Calothan™ in the palm blocks contact cold when gripping cold objects and is up to 20% more effective than standard materials. The extra-warm Thinsulate™ 150g lining, containing up to 78% recycled materials, offers high insulation performance with low bulk. The Aquathan® membrane makes the glove waterproof and windproof without compromising breathability.
Reinforced fingers and thumbs increase durability in rugged use, while pre-curved fingers support a low-fatigue grip. The index finger is touchscreen-compatible, allowing for the operation of scanners, tablets, and smartphones without having to remove the glove. A reflector increases visibility in poor lighting conditions.
The glove complies with Category II (PPE) and is certified according to EN 388:2016+A1:2018 (2222X), EN 511:2006 (321), EN ISO 21420:2020, and TP TC 019:2011. It is available in high-visibility yellow/black and in sizes 7 to 12. A durable choice for anyone working permanently in cold environments who needs protection, grip, and dexterity.
